While renovating the ground floor of this factory, the owners took refuge in the attic. Using found materials like shopping carts and industrial lockers, they transformed the space into an innovative live/work home. Their two kids get to live every child’s dream: they sleep in a tent! Since working with Southern California artists George Herms, William Wiley,Lynn Foulkes I have been intensely interested in found object art and use for decoration. I use lime putty plaster and earth plaster in my profession and believe it can fit well into an environment incorporating elements including found objects and modern design.
